2017.04.08 - More Wiring

The task of the day was to run a new cable from the battery to the radio via an inline fuse and a 12v to 6v DC converter. This took quite some time as I was working is a confined space since the wiring went behind the stowage lockers and the galley.

This is the result. doesn't look like much does it? Still it took two hours to achieve.

The cable runs behind the back of the open-faced lockers above the galley to keep them from getting tangled in anything and also to keep them away from the heater.

After that the next coat of varnish was applied to the spars and bottom boards. The curved-top, mast and bowsprit are all now done, I think that eight coats is sufficient although that might be nine on the mast. I lost count.
