Today's Wednesday which means shopping day so apart from the varnishing little boat was carried out. I did one thing and that was to make a substitute.

It's not a template nor is it a jig. It is the same width and height to the pivot point as the foot of the mast and I'm going to use it to see if I can put the mast up with the fore hatch closed. So, it's a substitute.

Very simple and easy to make especially since I had a flat drill bit the correct size. Once the tabernacle is installed I'll test it out.
