Since today was shopping day only a few small jobs were carried out once we had returned from the supermarket and put away the shopping. I varnished the two ash blocks that will be used for the mainsheet, first coat, and put another coat on the main hatch spacer. that was the fourth coat if I remember correctly.

The jib sheet cleats had their missing bolts fitted and I rubbed some beeswax on the forehatch where the neoprene strip tried to stick to the surface to which it is not supposed to be attached.

The clock board and compression post did get another coat of varnish first thing this morning, that's the fourth for those as well.

As I said, just small jobs.
