Since today was a shopping day I didn't spend much time working on Naiad. A coat of varnish was applied to the required items first thing this morning, but this evening I hand sanded the hull above the new copper epoxy line. Having done that I cut out four circles of plywood to use as mounting pads for the lights.

The mounting pads will have a slot cut to the centre so that the cable to the light can run underneath the light itself. The plywood also give a bit more depth for the screws that will hold the light in place.
