Apart from putting enough coat of varnish on various boat parts in the container beside the workshop, the task for today was to start making the cockpit tent spreaders and the supports.

These are the sports all stacked on top of each other and clamped together while the glue sets.

There are two spreaders, one each side of the cockpit and each one consists of two legs and a crossbar. It is the crossbar that spreads the cockpit tent out and the legs hold it up. Each leg needs two supports and you 'll be able to see how these work once they are put in place.

I had some spare time so I put a top on the plate rack.
