Before I can start the maintenance work on Naiad there are a number of things to do first.

Here the aft supports have been braced so that they will not fall down if Naiad's stern lifts for any reason.

The mud weight and chain have been taken off the boat.

Most of the soft good have been taken out. That one cushion remains so that I can sit on Naiad and have cup of tea.

The neighbour's cat who has decided that our hay barn is his personal domain decided to carry out an inspection.

Naiad has remained dry inside with no sign of damp, mould or mildew but I decided to turn the heater on to drive out any moisture in the boat.

There are still a number of things to do before I can start but I'm not in a hurry so I'm taking it easy.
